FIELD TRIP 😀
As part of our academic curriculum ,we selected Krishnapuram palace and Shankar's cartoon museum for the field visit on july 26 ,2024☺️.We reached our destination by bus and scooters.
We reached our first destination Krishnapuram palace on quiet morning of that day.Although Krishnapuram palace is nearby place I couldn't get a chance to visit the place. Truly I was excited visiting these kind of archaeologically important place. Krishnapuram palace is an 18th century architecture Marvel that showcase kerala's rich cultural heritage .In the palace itself there is a museum which contains so many things which show the history of Kerala and the Travancore dynasty.Major collections are Kayamkulam vaal,Coins, Gajendra mokshm painting etc .A very beautiful garden also created in the Palace. We all got a clear idea about the rich culture of Kerala.
Our next destination was Shankar's cartoon museum in Kayamkulam. It's honors legendary cartoonist Shankar's contribution to Indian cartooning.
Visiting Shankar's Cartoon Museum was a transformative experience that broadened my understanding of the power of cartoons in shaping public opinion and reflecting societal realities. As I navigated through the exhibits, I was stuck by Shankar's creativity, and commitment to social causes. His cartoons not only entertained but also educated me about India's history, politics, and culture. Both the destination was very amazing and we get an enriching experience , offering a unique blend of history, art and culture.
Apart from all this we get an opportunity to interact with our friends and teachers more closely.l think it was pne of the most memorable day in my B.Ed journey🥰.
